Rights & Usage
Licence Terms
This is a plain-English summary of how images from the archive may be used. Every licence is confirmed in writing by email before any file is delivered.
Copyright
Every image on this site is the original work of Paul and is protected by copyright. No image may be reproduced, published, distributed or used in any form without a licence agreed in writing with Outer Mind Photography.
Personal Digital Licence
A full-resolution file for personal, non-commercial use: device wallpapers and prints for your own home.
Not permitted: publication of any kind, use on commercial websites or social channels, resale, or inclusion in any product or portfolio.
Editorial Licence
A single-use licence for news, editorial and educational publication — print or digital — with attribution to Outer Mind Photography.
Editorial licences start at $150 AUD for digital single use; print and high-circulation placements are quoted by scope.
Editorial licences do not cover advertising, marketing or any paid promotional use.
Commercial Licence
For marketing, advertising, brand and product use. Each commercial licence is scoped individually by territory, duration and media, and quoted accordingly.
Commercial licences start at $495 AUD — one digital campaign, 12 months, a single territory — and scale with scope.
Tell us how you intend to use the image and we will respond with terms and a quote.
Exclusive Rights & Buyouts
Time-limited exclusivity — sole rights for 12 months, after which the frame returns to sale — starts at $795 AUD. Full rights buyouts start at $2500 AUD; both are negotiated directly with the photographer.
Exclusivity applies from the date of agreement: the frame is withdrawn from future sale, and no further licences are granted. Licences purchased before an exclusive agreement remain valid for their agreed term — they cannot be revoked — and any outstanding rights are always disclosed to you before you buy.
All licences — including exclusives and buyouts — are licences only. Copyright in every image remains with the photographer; a copyright assignment is a separate negotiation, priced accordingly.
Fine-Art Prints
A print is a physical artwork only. Purchasing a print conveys no reproduction or publication rights in the underlying image.
A Note on Protection
Images on this site are published as web-resolution derivatives and are protected against casual saving and reuse. Circumventing these measures — by any technical means — does not grant any rights; unauthorised use remains copyright infringement.
